Wow! Just Wow!

Via the inevitable Carl P, the story of the lady who invented the Tea Parties.

For all that education, she seems amazingly dim and naive to me. I actually saw the YouTube confrontation mentioned in the story. 

I loved this sentence, which pretty much blows away all the "independent" nonsense that the TP non-leaders spout:
Last month, she was among about 60 Tea Party leaders flown to Washington to be trained in election activism by FreedomWorks, the conservative advocacy organization led by Dick Armey, the former House Republican leader.
I keep thinking that the Tea-Party machine is taking advantage of the uninformed masses; it's especially depressing to learn that they are actually part of that demographic.

And Oxford ought to ask for its degree back.
