Maryland today and get their record up to 16-1 (with Connecticut coming up Monday afternoon) convinces me that the Wildcats deserve their Top Ten ranking.
Meanwhile,
Temple losing from the opening whistle to
Dusquesne is very depressing.
Juan Fernandez had to sit out virtually the entire game due to injury, but they still should beat the likes of Dusquesne. In a second-tier conference like the
Atlantic Ten that will allow the likes of
St. Joe's to be a member, you don't have a lot of wiggle room if you want to go to the
Big Dance in March.
