Love this from Life, the Keith Richards autobiography which is getting rave reviews.

After Keith falls out of a tree in 2006 and incurs a life-threatening hematoma, he receives get-well wishes from world dignitaries, Tony Blair included: “Dear Keith, you’ve always been one of my heroes.” Keith does a double take: “England’s in the hands of somebody who I’m a hero of?”

He was hardly a role model, but, man, I'm glad he made it through.
